Dr. Drew was instrumental in helping me successfully service-connect my sleep apnea after it had previously been denied. Before working with him, my claim had stalled despite supporting records. Dr. Drew took the time to thoroughly review my medical history, understand the connection to my service-connected PTSD, and provide a clear, well-supported nexus letter grounded in medical literature and sound clinical reasoning.

Shortly after submitting his opinion, my sleep apnea was granted at 50%. It would not have happened without his support. His ability to articulate the medical relationship in a way the VA could clearly understand made all the difference.

Beyond his medical expertise, I appreciated his transparency, professionalism, and understanding of the VA process. As a fellow service member, he understands how these conditions develop over time and how they affect daily life.

I highly recommend Dr. Drew to any veteran seeking a thorough, honest, and evidence-based medical opinion to support their claim.

I am extremely grateful for the services rendered by Dr. Drew Bennes. I used him on three different occasions for three separate claims of sleep apnea, secondary hypertension and gerd. I had been denied for all three claims and in the case of hypertension had dealt with appeals over a six year period. The professionalism and expertise (Nexus Letters) got all three claims granted and all within a 4 to 5 month period. I would recommend him to anybody in need for disability Nexus letter assistance. Dr. Brennes has helped me the past couple of years with his nexus letters. They are professional and well worded. Besides his letters, he has given me priceless advice on how to proceed when the VA originally declined my claim. I would highly recommend Dr. Brennes to anyone in need of his service. Thank you again.

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Drew; his work was absolutely essential in winning my claim for OSA.
While my initial claim was denied, Dr. Drew's powerful nexus letter was the key that secured my C&P exam. After the exam, I requested a copy of the contract examiner's C&P report and found several errors. This prompted me to file for a Higher-Level Review.
During my informal conference, I was able to speak directly with a VA Rater and point out the specific mistakes in the C&P report. The incredibly thorough and evidence-based nexus letter from Dr. Drew provided the solid medical foundation I needed to successfully challenge the contract examiner's opinion and I finally won my appeal.
His commitment to helping veterans is clear. For anyone needing a nexus letter that can withstand scrutiny and make all the difference, look no further. Dr. Drew is the real deal.

Dr. Drew provided outstanding support throughout the VA disability process. He brought structure to a messy, paperwork-heavy system and made the medical side of the claim clear, defensible, and easy for the VA to evaluate. He delivered thorough medical analysis, well-organized documentation, and consistent follow-through from start to finish. His work materially improved the quality of the claim package, reduced avoidable delays, and increased the overall credibility of the submission.

Let me start by saying that Dr. Brennas, D.C. is the absolute best. I'd been continuously denied on my previous V.A. claims, but with the help of Dr. Brennas and his Nexus Letter, I received a 50% rating for sleep apnea. And again, that's after being diagnosed with it, having three sleep studies done, issued a cpap by the V.A., and still being denied. There was no crazy back and forth with Dr. Brennas. His work ethic matches his personality, he is "OUTSTANDING".

Dr. Drew was incredibly responsive and flexible. I was impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness, and the attention to detail in his letter. My shoulder injury had already been denied, both in the initiaö claim and in a higher level review. I used Dr. Drew's letter to file a supplemental claim, and less than a month later, my injury was rated at 20%! Thank you, Dr. Drew, for your hard work and expertise!

Dr. Drew went above and beyond in helping me with my VA claims. Before his assistance I was not service connected at ALL! The VA kept denying my claims for two years. My wife did some research online and I decided to use him for my Nexus letters. He DID NOT disappoint us! He prepared THREE Nexus letters for my conditions and thanks to his thorough work and clear medical explanations, I was awarded a 50% service connection. All three of his Nexus letters got me a rating! Wow! His professionalism, compassion and dedication to helping veterans truly stand out. I am truly grateful for his support and HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing a strong medical documentation for their VA claims. I have worked myself to 90% but recently reached out to Dr. Drew AGAIN for his help on my OSA claim. I am confident that he will get me to 100%!

I spent years working with different providers who gave me the runaround when it came to nexus letters. It was exhausting, and honestly, discouraging. Dr. Brennes was the complete opposite — communicative, straightforward, easy to work with, and on top of that, he’s got a great sense of humor that makes the whole process feel less stressful.

I’ve been dealing with real illnesses and discomforts for a long time, but the VA kept missing the service-connection.
His nexus letter made the connection undeniable. Because of his work, I was finally awarded a favorable decision.

I highly recommend giving him a try. He actually listens, he understands the system, and he gets the job done.

I am a former member of the 82nd ABN with a good number of jumps and resulting back issues from it. I had ignored these issues and just got by for a long time until filing. First I was denied before understanding and unclear what to do to resolve it.

Dr. Brennes was able to write up exactly what I needed here and I eventually got a favorable decision. I am happy that the VA finally recognizes the one major issue I have that impacts my life. He has been professional and helpful for this entire process and I appreciate the work he has done. If you have issues that are within his area of expertise I am certain he can get you sorted out.

"One of the most thorough nexus letters I have ever seen!" - VA C&P Examiner

I contacted Dr. Brennes in August to discuss a nexus letter for a back injury I incurred while serving. Although I had a service treatment records showing this injury happened while on Active Duty, I was initially denied a service connection after the examiner noted that it was "not a chronic issue". I knew that my back wasn't getting any better though, and x-rays and MRIs over the years were showing the same.

Dr. Brennes provided me with an incredibly thorough nexus letter, and I was able to re-open my claim through a supplemental claim. At my C&P exam, the examiner noted that it was one of the most thorough letters they had ever seen.

This letter ultimately resulted in my claim being accepted and a service connection being granted! I thank you Dr. Brennes, and will absolutely be following up for other injuries that I'm having the same issues with!

Dr. Brennes truly exceeded my expectations! He wrote an incredibly detailed and professional Nexus Letter that helped me get my Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) service-connected as a secondary claim. He took the time to understand my situation, reviewed my records carefully, and explained everything in a way that made sense.

You can tell he genuinely cares about veterans and takes pride in his work. Thanks to his expertise and attention to detail, my claim was approved, and I finally received the rating I deserved.

I’m so happy with his services — if you’re a veteran struggling to get your conditions properly connected, Dr. Brennes is the one you want on your team.

Dr. Brennes helped me with my Nexus letter for a secondary condition, and I’m really glad I found him. He was respectful, quick to respond, and didn’t charge anything upfront just to look at my case—which is rare. A lot of other services ask for payment before even reviewing your situation.
He wrote a detailed letter that clearly explained the medical connection and included solid evidence to back it up. The whole process was smooth and efficient.
If you're a veteran needing help with a Nexus letter, I definitely recommend reaching out to Dr. Brennes. He made a stressful process way easier.

I cannot thank Dr. Drew enough for his outstanding support with my VA disability claims. His expertise and dedication helped me secure a 30% rating for migraines and a 50% rating for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) after being denied for both conditions twice.

I’ll admit I was skeptical at first, but after reading the positive reviews and receiving a referral from another Veteran, I decided to work with Dr. Drew—and I’m glad I did. His thorough approach stood out immediately. He provided detailed letters backed by medical literature, case studies, and historical VA claims, ensuring my evidence was clear and undeniable.

His communication with me was also key throughout the process. Dr. Drew made sure I understood every step, promptly answered my questions, and kept me informed so I never felt left in the dark. As a Veteran himself, he understood the process and the struggles we face, guiding me through the higher-level review process when the VA overlooked my evidence again.

On top of his professionalism and knowledge, Dr. Drew offers his services at a very reasonable price, making it possible for Veterans like me to get the quality support we deserve without being overcharged.

I will absolutely be using his services again for a rebuttal letter and would highly recommend him to any Veteran in need of a high-quality nexus letter.

Dr. Brennes,

I want to thank you for the Nexus letter. Your letter made a difference and had a significant impact on my VA appeal decision. I brought all my medical records and your letter to my C&P examination, and the examiner read and agreed with your findings. I have now been granted a 50% disability rating.

Thank you again for your good work.

Sincerely,
Rodney Rodriguez

Dr. Drew made me a believer. I sent him a LOT of records (more than 25 years of military and civilian diagnosis and treatment records), and he thoroughly reviewed it all and produced documentation for my appeal. He took note of my issues, highlighted those in the letter he prepared, and provided supporting medical literature and its relevance to my claim. END RESULT: the VA approved my appeal and returned a service connection and what I think is a fair rating.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Drew Brennes’ professionalism and genuine commitment to helping veterans. After many years of dealing with the VA, I am finally 100% — and Dr. Brennes played a huge role in making that possible. Navigating the VA process can be overwhelming, and working with doctors who charge excessively only adds to the stress. Dr. Brennes is not one of those doctors. He truly cares about veterans and provides the support we need without unnecessary hurdles.

I would highly recommend Dr. Brennes to any veteran seeking a Nexus letter. He takes the facts, presents them clearly, and lays everything out in a way that gives your claim the best chance of being approved by the VA.

I am a returning customer. (Please read my review Dtd. June 13, 2024.) Dr. Brennes helped me with my first claim, and I believe was the one major difference in my claim being awarded by the VA. So, why wouldn't I use his services again for my secondary claim? Dr. Brennes wrote another well researched, professional nexus letter, that was added to my claim for OSA as a secondary to my service connected lower back issues. My fully developed claim was submitted on July 9, 2025 and approved @ 50% service connected on August 22nd. And the best part was I didn't have to attend a C&P exam. I fully believe that Dr. Brennes was an integral part of this positive outcome, and I can't thank him enough. I am now at 80% service connected and feel that I am being fully compensated for the injuries I sustained during my military service. Thank you, Dr. Brennes ,for all you do for your fellow veterans.

I did quite a bit of research before deciding on Dr. Drew Brennes with Nexus Letter Doctor services. I'm definitely glad I did. I did one claim which was for my rosacea that I've been fighting for over a two and a half years. I kept uploading documents, medical paperwork, buddy letters, etc. The claim would just keep getting denied. I finally realized I needed a nexus letter. I submitted Dr. Brennes six-page long nexus letter coming up with medical etiology and references that back up my claim. I was sent to another C&P exam but the examiner was terrible. She even told me that she'd be telling the VA in her report that it's not service connected. My claim was approved three days later but at 0%. That is a win! I can always submit paperwork later fighting to increase it but man. I was super stressed out because she blatantly told me that she would advise against my service connection. Due to Dr. Brenne's amazing nexus letter, I got my disability approved. Please do not hesitate on deciding with his services because the evidence is in the reviews. Do it!

I did a lot of research choosing who would write my nexus letter and I ended up choosing Dr. Brennes and I am certainly glad I did! He is extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent communication throughout the process. I am very pleased with the nexus letter; it is very detailed/ informative. After the process, it was obvious Dr. Brennes truly cares about his patients and people in general. My disability rating increased from 20% to 40%. I would highly recommend Dr. Brennes to anyone.

After nearly 30 years since separating from the military, I finally received service connection for my knees, and I truly believe that wouldn’t have been possible without Dr. Brennes. From the start, he was professional, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to helping veterans navigate the VA system. He took the time to review my case thoroughly, provided expert guidance, and crafted a detailed Nexus letter that was central to my claim's success. What stood out most was not just his clinical insight, but his encouragement and honesty. He reminded me that the VA is supposed to give veterans the benefit of the doubt, and he helped me stay focused and hopeful when the process felt overwhelming. His letter did exactly what he said it would.

I'm beyond grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to any veteran seeking expert support in their VA disability claim. Thank you, Dr. Brennes. Your work made a lasting impact on my life.
